Happy Friday to all!
What a busy week it was, I feel like I was running around like a crazy person.
But I can be calm now because it’s Friday and I am hoping it means a nice plop on the couch tonight, a movie and a tipple or two.
So this week I am doing my Fab Four Friday on non other than the fabulousness that is Jamberry.
They are in a nutshell nail wraps that you stick on your nails instead of polish (or as well as in some cases).
I’ve been using wraps for years and only 1 brand in Oz has ever been worth buying but they aren’t easy to get a hold of, nor do they have enough styles. So when Jamberry hit Oz this month I signed up as an Independent Consultant to be able to enjoy them and share my love of them with you all.
One of the things I get asked about often is “Do they have plain styles, I don’t like things to full on”.
It’s funny how I think people can become overwhelmed by the choices (they have 300 styles) and it can all appear pretty busy.
I thought it would be nice to create some ideas or themes if you will of some recent events that are bound to be popping up on your calendar over the festive and summer holidays.
This will give you some ideas on how to match your Jams with outfit choices.
Its not about matching pattens like many assume or about being outlandish, but tasteful, fashionable and fun styles that complement your outfit, which is what it’s all about anyway.
Ok, now we all know that this is in the pipeline one way or another.
Whether your lucky enough to go to Melbourne Cup or you have drinks at work during the race. I used to love having a half day with friends, dressing up and popping down to a venue for lunch that turned to late afternoon drinks.
This style mixes a bit of modern and traditional which is very much my style, but also stylish for the races, of course.

Prom / End of Year Formal
Surely we all remember this one pretty well.
End of year formal or Prom as known in the states is a pretty big deal as a kid (or young adult I should say).
As it should be, it’s an end to a pretty big part of you life thus far. So why not go out in style.
This would be just as fitting if you were going to an end of year ball or gala of any kind. Very adaptable and formal style…

The Little Black Dress
Now there is seldom a women I know that doesn’t have some kind of LBD in her wardrobe.
The best go-to outfit any women can and should have.
The best thing with the Little Black Dress is its versatility. You can style it up as much as you like, keep it traditional or go all out with a splash of colour.
I’ve created an accent of teals and tassels in this match up, who said to can’t also be about textures too…
- Target – Strapless Lace LBD
- Wittner Shoes – Rozina Black Heel
- Swarovski – Blue Solitaire
- Country Road – Coco Tassel Clutch

This one is all about having fun and celebrating the silly season.
I have also thought of comfort with this one being, pants… or jeans actually. I think it’s nice to have options that aren’t all about dresses. Although I do love my full mid skirts.
But these are pretty stunning jeans, they are Coated Coco Jeans from Feather & Noise and I love them, well I love a lot of Feather & Noise pieces and this is just one of the many lovely pieces they have. I have about 4 of their jeans penciled in on my wish list. Be sure to check them out if you haven’t yet, such a beautiful business run by some pretty awesome chicks too!
With this style, I have arched it up a notch by using the flattering Coco Jeans and a formal style top from Forever New… party in the bottom, business in the top. Great transition from the office too.
I have thrown in some pretty killer heels in a wildfire red, it’s Christmas after all and some gorgeous Jamberry mash-ups and some gold jingly jewellery to finish it all off.
It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas…
